August 29, 2010 - Getting Ready to Leave Provo
If you get a box at the top of
your screen that begins "To help protect your security.. and ends with
"Click here for options", click the bar then select "Allow blocked
content." If another box pops up that asks, "Are you sure you
want to let this file run active content?", click "Yes."It's only asking if you want to see the photo the way I created it.
Scroll down and click where it says "Click Here" to see the photo full size.
As we prepared to leave, I wanted to
create something a little different.
I've shown the photo out the door from our friend's house where we've been staying in Provo. Here's the view we see when we open the door in the daytime.

But this photo doesn't really do the view justice. You have to see it from a distance to realize the grandeur of what this looks like. But even then I don't have the type camera lens to take it all in.
Fortunately, there's a software technique I can use. I had to snap several photos then "paste" them all together and do some more editing to make them look like one panoramic photo. It isn't perfect but it gives you a much better idea of what this place looks like. Click Here for a view of this place from a distance. You'll see what it really looks like!
