Master Bathroom
Garden tub before ...
Shower before ...
and toilet before (ugh).
The rot at this toilet was
pretty severe but we were surprised when we pulled up the plywood
floor. There was chip board underneath that was sound. All
we had to do was join too solid pieces of new plywood around the
existing floor flange and caulk.
Here's another view after
initial paint.
And the garden tub before we
removed the wall board around it. Hard to tell in this photo but
the wall on the near right bulges toward the opposing wall.
So we replaced it with
exterior-grade plywood.
We used the same type plywood to
replace the rot under the toilet.
The new American Standard
toilets are the best! They're the quietest I've ever heard and
guaranteed not to stop up. We'll probably never need the
plumber's friend in the corner.
